I was born in Gainesville as a 5th generation native. I am proud of my heritage and still live in the area, approximately 35 miles northeast of town. I have been married (to the same man) since 1982, and we have two sons, we live on 21 acres surrounded by Etoniah State Forest, along the Palatka-to-Lake Butler Rails to Trails.
Gainesville is a great city, UF is a great college, and I'm proud to be part of the Gator Nation.
